linux/ubuntu下pidgin无法登录msn

最近,linux/ubuntu下如果你用pidgin登录msn,便会提示:

无法验证 omega.contacts.msn.com 的证书。指定的证书链无效。

你可以下载我导出的msn新的证书
如果你对下载我的证书不放心的话，还可以访问https://omega.contacts.msn.com/,点击地址栏https旁边的小锁头,导出msn新证书;

以上两部之需要选择一个就行，目的就是为了取得omega.contacts.msn.com的证书~

最后:

openboy@openboy-linux:~$ cp omega.contacts.msn.com .purple/certificates/x509/tls_peers

就此解决pidgin无法登录msn出现无法验证 omega.contacts.msn.com 的证书。指定的证书链无效。

编译安装pidgin以及一些错误解决

说起Pidgin以前在用windows时就用过，并且拿它和digsby做过对比.现在用回了ubuntu,可惜现在ubuntu9.10自带的empathy实在不怎么样，所以萌生了编译pidgin的想法.至于deb安装谁都会,编译安装的好处我也写不出来，无非感觉应该是更适合自己的机器,更好控制吧,版本更新一点~

编译安装pidgin中会遇到很多问题，因为pidgin的依赖非常非常的多，而且有的依赖还是ubuntu源里没有的,基本上我编译安装成功,只是要禁用它的vv功能,好像是视频和音频吧.如果你非想完美的安装好每个功能，可以参考一下这个 via ubuntuclub

一切顺利的步骤.

./configure

make

sudo make install

但是./configure一定会出现很多问题，note一下.

p libglib2.0-dev – Development files for the GLib library 这个就是对应的包：

sudo apt-get install libglib2.0-dev

聊天软件大比拼:Digsby和Pidgin

年也过的差不多了,最近也非常劳累懒得写东西,最近搞网站搞的一闭眼全是代码。<流水帐下:前天和姐姐去电影院看了《疯狂的赛车》，我觉得这个值得一看，推荐给大家。>
下面进入正题,最近试用了两个聊天软件,一个是Digsby,还有就是Pidgin.可以说这两个软件都非常的好！可是对于我自己来说,他们都有那么一点点瑕疵：
Digsby支持Twitter,支持的相当完美,但是不支持QQ…所以我得在开完Digsby后再开QQ..
而Pidgin支持QQ，确支持twitter不是很好，只能用Gtalk机器人更新，却没法看到别人对我的回复。

而两个IM软件都是非常全面的。
首先说Digsby的功能,用图说话一目了然。

Pidgin全局,我在上面集成了msn,gtalk，qq.

还有就是Pidgin对于Gtalk设置上和其他有点不同。

如果添加Gtalk

Protocol：选择 XMPP
Screen name：填写 Gmail 帐号 @ 之前的内容
Server：填写 gmail.com
Resource：Pidgin
Password：填写 Gmail 帐号的密码

高级页面选填：切换到高级标签页：

Connect port：默认是 5222
Connect server：填入 talk.google.com

Pidgin的Gtalk设置

可以说两个软件都是非常的优秀,无法光从单独的角度去评价他们，只有说适合您的才是最好的！如果你有什么问题和联系我咱们一起探讨～还有现在尚未探明的是Pidgin挂QQ是否涨天数，我觉得应该涨，但是很多人对这个不在意也无妨了～
